YOUR FAMILY’S 2025 HEALTHCARE RESOLUTIONS

It’s the new year and the perfect time to focus on your family’s health and safety.

Stay on schedule with annual well visits.
The annual well visit gives CPCMG providers the chance to evaluate your child’s overall health and development, monitor their growth, and identify any health issues that may need more attention.

Set a daily time limit on digital devices for social media, gaming, etc.
Limit daily use of digital devices to 30 minutes a day. Remember to monitor your child’s social media use, identify age-appropriate games and apps, and keep children under 13 off social media.

Set a daily challenge for time spent outside.
Aim for an hour a day (more on weekends). Check out a local park and playgrounds, have a picnic, visit a farmer’s market, attend a benefit walk…anything to get outside and get moving.

Limit sugary drinks.
Focus on drinking more water which is ideal for maintaining hydration.

Create healthy meals.
Focus on lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, and grains. Limit highly processed foods and those with high fructose corn syrup.

Focus on mental health.
Promote open communication in a supportive environment so family members feel comfortable discussing their feelings.
