Points of Interest in Temecula (Redhawk)

The Temecula Stampede

The Temecula Stampede is known for being the largest country Western music venue of the West Coast and with that in mind you should head here if you want to see a show and enjoy some good old fashioned country music. The scene here is eclectic, so as well as Western music you can also expect rock and roll and other genres to be played here, so check the local listings to see what will be on when you are in town.

Vail Lake Resort

Vail Lake used to be a place of historical importance in the days of old when it was used as a stopover on the Butterfield Overland Stage Coach Line. The lake was actually created in the 1940s from the Vail Lake Dam and now spans over 1,000 acres of water. The lake is well known as a place to fish for bass and you can also camp here if you want to stay for more than a day in the area. Other activities at the lake include mountain biking around the area as well as hiking one of the many trails.
