Shelby’s passion for maternal-child health was first sparked nearly two decades ago. During global travels she saw mothers in-need from Nepal to South Africa and was inspired to learn the skills to help. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Shelby is a mom herself and thanks to great support successfully breastfeed her own children.

She is committed to educating and empowering parents to bond with and nourish their babies through breastfeeding and chestfeeding.

A third-generation San Diegan, Shelby is thrilled to have recently returned to Southern California to join Children’s Primary Care Medical Group. When not providing world-class lactation support to CPCMG families, you can find Shelby outside with her husband, two sons, and two dogs exploring the coast they now call home.
