Meet Dr. Leon Kelley

A pediatrician in San Diego for more than 40 years, Dr. Leon Kelley opened his practice in southeast San Diego after serving in the United States Navy. He currently sees patients at the CPCMG Euclid office.

What is your favorite part about working with children?
Children are very straight forward and I love educating parents.

What made you decide to become a pediatrician?
I always gravitated toward pediatrics while in medical school and while growing up I had pediatric role models.

Describe how you ensure the quality of care for your young patients?
I always try to stay current with up to date information and I don’t mind spending the time with patients to assure their needs are met.

What do you do for fun?
Music has always been a passion of mine and I am very involved with the music at my church.
